This is about the spiritual authorities\/powers, about the adversary of God, of grace, of good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I am learning to imitate Jesus in this. He disarmed Satan when tempted in the desert by deep knowledge of and obedience to God's Word (Matt.4). He challenged the accusation that He Himself had a faulty mind by publicly asking four clear questions (Matt.12). He triumphed before the eyes of many on the cross of Calvary, when, at great cost of suffering, He took away Satan's charge of guilt and shame (Matt.27).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That is why we also report openly on this site what we see\/experience, ask questions for the sake of an open conversation and are willing to bear the costs to help survivors (and perpetrators) get free from guilt and shame because of horrific injustice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is as simple as it is disarming: no clever ways or hidden motives. It does require courage, sanctification and perseverance. It cannot be done without Jeshua's help and mutual encouragement. How grateful we are to have that help and mutual commitment!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
