Today, Tuesday 4 February 2025, a delegation from Friends of Esthers presented the booklet "I Am Who?" to a number of MPs in The Hague.
Gerard spoke, calling for compassion for s.r.m. survivors. He also made the case for an independent second opinion investigation in the Netherlands and asked those present to do the same. To support and illustrate, he showed the book, with drawings made by an s.r.m. survivor in the context of trauma processing.
The book was distributed to interested MPs. This included a insert added with an extract from Esther's story (the testimony of another survivor) - a specific piece also pictured in the booklet.
The story of Esther and the drawings of another 'Esther' - together it forms a representation of satanic ritual abuse that is as vivid as it is terrifying.
Through this action in politics, we hope that people will be touched by the uncomfortable and harrowing reality of s.r.m. and will not look away, so that the victims will begin to experience that they are not alone in their struggle.
