Satanic ritual abuse, what is it?

For many decades in the western world, from Australia to Europe, from the USA to Canada, there have been recurring accounts of horrifying sadistic torture, often sexual in nature, by groups of people. The perpetrators often include family members from several generations. They also tell of dark gatherings, often at night, where sadistic abuse takes place in a 'sacred' atmosphere. There are local gatherings and larger ones at home and abroad. Survivors talk about sex orgies, child prostitution and the production of (sadistic) child pornography, sometimes with or without animals. Many victims tell how they were forced to participate in all these things for as long as they can remember and that their 'crimes' were recorded on photographs and films. This material is used to blackmail them when they 'disobey'. The 'coercion' is psychologically complex: sometimes children are forced to participate by force (adult hand controlling child's hand) and sometimes there is moral blackmail ("if you don't rape your sister I will, and I will do it more cruelly"). But deeper than that is the brilliantly malicious way in which the souls of these children are linked to their perpetrators, by placing the perpetrators in the role of the child's 'saviour' at ingeniously clever moments. For more explanation of this, see passages of this item. In the developing brain of the young child, there is total confusion about what is good and what is evil, so that parts of their own souls begin to see and experience killing and raping as something good. MindcontrolTotal control over the actions and thoughts as well as the feelings of their victims is the goal.

Some survivors also tell of connections between this world and the ordinary (criminal underworld), of being used in human trafficking, drugs and arms dealing. Survivors tell how Satan is worshipped in the ritual meetings. In addition to other degrading practices, girls and young women give birth to babies here under terrible conditions, who are then brutally raped and sacrificed to the prince of darkness. The meetings take place in remote barns or in forests, but also in churches.

Slavery of body, soul and spirit

Satanic ritual abuse is more than the sum of the above horrors. It is actually a form of total slavery. It is slavery of the body: sex slavery, learned addiction to painful sex or other extreme pain as a means to override other emotions, as well as physical addiction to drugs administered from an early age. It is slavery of the soul, which disintegrates into pieces through extreme torture and can no longer function as a whole (see this item about DIS). But it is also slavery of the human spirit. The personal freedom to choose between good and evil is destroyed as completely as possible. From an early age, evil is called good, and good evil, in hundreds of different situations. Thus, the perpetrators alienate their child victims from the natural 'knowing' of the difference between the two: it is good that the master rapes you constantly, because then you become stronger. It is good to torture another, because then you become holier and your chances of being exonerated by Satan and rising higher are increased. It is even better to do it with passion and laughter, because then you are more credible (also in sm-prostitution and pornography, so that it seems that children do it with pleasure) and you rise in the tight culture hierarchy. And that means less torture, so a little less pain, a little more living space and more chance of survival. It also means more authority in the dark spiritual world that surrounds you.

It is good not to show any emotion, because if you cry, you will be punished harshly. It is bad to help a fellow victim, because then they get even more pain or you die. It is even bad to feel compassion, because if they see that, you have to hurt the other person yourself.

It is terrible to make a mistake, however small. Even tipping a glass of milk means terrible punishment. And the highest punishment is for family betrayal, for revealing information about the cult and their crimes.

When dealing with horrific memories, these completely reversed values come to the fore again and again, resulting in serious inner conflict.

Jesus said: 'Satan does not come except to steal, rob and slaughter. I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. These words take on a profound meaning when dealing with survivors of SRM. Could the contrast be any greater?

Out of life

The world of survivors was totally unknown to me. I have great respect for their courage and perseverance when I hear about their bizarre experiences. How vulnerable and special that they want to share this with me personally! I really appreciate that we can open our home for encounters.

Being there unconditionally is the key

I have been touched in my heart by the injustice done to so many; I want to stand for the truth and for God's justice to prevail.

Survivors of SRM need what every human being needs: sincere love, a heart that listens without judgement and lasting connection. Even the deepest parts, those who had to murder and rape, then dare to speak. How many victims will break free from their lifelong slavery if they receive 10 such friends?

It is a privilege to pray for survivors, regularly and at key moments. And also for their families, if they are still in the cult. That is my contribution to their liberation and I experience that in this way I can help God's light to shine on their lives. As a Christian, I thus take my place in God's Kingdom and in the heavenly realms.

What a new, dark world opened up for me in 2020. Too bizarre to be true, until I started to listen and read critically and openly. I now find it a privilege to support therapists and survivors, so that the Light of Jesus overcomes the deep darkness.

I give my hands to help and my heart to love.

It is a privilege to experience a survivor. But it is an even greater privilege to be able to do your modest part to support the survivor to really live.

No one can do it all alone.... That is why I want to mean something for others. My name Tikva means HOPE ... and there is hope for everyone!
