Out of life

Important!

How grateful we are that we received many registrations for the information evening in Elburg. There were over 40 people at the end of September!

How nice it would be if the information evening in Amsterdam on Tuesday 25 November is also well attended. We so urgently need network friends from that area for a survivor. If you would like to consider inviting someone; for more information, see the invitation letter.

Fierce

The EO documentary The Conspiracy caused quite a stir. Both an intensive correspondence to EO and documentary makers as well as encouragement from various quarters and also an additional article on our website.

Let us pray that the negative focus on srm in the documentary may actually be cause for all kinds of individuals to dare to find out and acknowledge what is happening to survivors in reality, including in our country.

Motion

A motion to conduct a new, independent, second opinion enquiry into s.r.m. was recently voted on in the House of Representatives. The motion was defeated as there was no majority in the chamber in favour of it. The roll call vote is here watch back. (minute 55:43).

The mover of the motion, Gideon van Meijeren (FvD) looks back on the vote and expressed surprise at the turn of events

Special

About 20 participants take part in the mini-course 'I want to know more about that'  in Twente. Even from other regions people came, all with a desire to better understand what it means to volunteer for a survivor.

The second place we will give the mini-course, for those who have already attended an information evening, Amsterdam, on Tuesday evenings 2 and 9 December 2025. You can register here.

Heavy

The time ahead is tough for survivors, including around Halloween. Whereas that day seems innocently about scaring and creeping, for victims of s.r.m., torture, fear and expressions of death are a dramatic reality. Happy to join us in prayer and proclaim God's light over darkness. Our prayer letter helps you with information including the days that are extra tough.

Spiritual pressure is also experienced at the Hoeve. Prayer for the Hoeve team is appreciated!

Encouraging

As participants in the quarter triathlon in Meppel asked two
young people attention to s.r.m.. They turned it into a charity run and raised
raised a nice amount, of which we were also able to receive a generous portion. What
beautiful and brave of Rafaëla and Nathan ! The Meppeler newspaper published this photo
An article headlined: Aid worker Rafaëla and victim Nathan from Meppel
call attention to sexual ritual abuse. 'It happens at all levels of
society'.

Thanks

What an encouragement to us and the survivors if you would like to support our (ANBI) foundation! Our bank account is NL 47 BUNQ 2068 8889 39 in the name of Friends of Esthers

Please note - for those who have previously transferred donations to us via the 4Justice foundation; this route will become degraded. Please use the IBAN above.

Words from the Bible book Isaiah about God's thoughts for everyone and certainly for survivors

For thus says the High and Exalted One,

Who dwells in eternity and Whose Name is holy:

I live in high heaven and in the holy,

And by the shattered and humble in spirit,

To make alive the spirit of the humble,

And to make alive the hearts of the shattered.

Isaiah 57:15

Warm regards and thanks for your interest in Friends of Esthers!

The world of survivors was totally unknown to me. I have great respect for their courage and perseverance when I hear about their bizarre experiences. How vulnerable and special that they want to share this with me personally! I really appreciate that we can open our home for encounters.

Being there unconditionally is the key

I have been touched in my heart by the injustice done to so many; I want to stand for the truth and for God's justice to prevail.

Survivors of SRM need what every human being needs: sincere love, a heart that listens without judgement and lasting connection. Even the deepest parts, those who had to murder and rape, then dare to speak. How many victims will break free from their lifelong slavery if they receive 10 such friends?

It is a privilege to pray for survivors, regularly and at key moments. And also for their families, if they are still in the cult. That is my contribution to their liberation and I experience that in this way I can help God's light to shine on their lives. As a Christian, I thus take my place in God's Kingdom and in the heavenly realms.

What a new, dark world opened up for me in 2020. Too bizarre to be true, until I started to listen and read critically and openly. I now find it a privilege to support therapists and survivors, so that the Light of Jesus overcomes the deep darkness.

I give my hands to help and my heart to love.

It is a privilege to experience a survivor. But it is an even greater privilege to be able to do your modest part to support the survivor to really live.

No one can do it all alone.... That is why I want to mean something for others. My name Tikva means HOPE ... and there is hope for everyone!
